I’M OUT HERE ON THE DECK,

ON THE EDGE OF THE BEAUTIFUL GREEN!

AND I CAN TELL YOU SOMETHING, FRIEND…

UNUSUAL SIGHTS CAN HERE BE SEEN!

Would you believe, A 'lady' paused here,
right on the 14th tee!
She bent her knees, she took her stance,
Then shook her fanny right at me!

ANOTHER PULLED HER CLUB

FROM A BAG WITH SEVERAL MORE…

AND WHEN THE BALL TRAVELED JUST THREE YARDS,

I THINK SHE CRIED – I KNOW SHE SWORE!

AND UP THE HILL

THE MEN TEED OFF!

OH, THE LAUGHS I HAD!

ONE AIMED AT ME, BUT HIT A TREE!

ANOTHER’S SHOT WAS JUST PLAIN BAD!

AND HERE COMES HARRY…!

BEST GOLFER OF THEM ALL, THEY SAY!

IF HE’S SO GREAT, I WONDER WHY

HIS BALL WAS LOST TODAY.

I CANNOT HELP BUT GIGGLE…

SOMETIMES I LAUGH OUT LOUD!

ONE GUY STAMPED HIS FEET AND POUTED,

JUST LIKE A SPOILED AND PAMPERED CHILD!

SIDELINE GOLF, I’VE NAMED IT!

A VERY AMUSING SPORT!

NO RULES…JUST SIT AND WATCH…

THEN GIVE A SNICKER AND A PERHAPS A SNORT!

NOT A DAY GOES BY, YA KNOW,

BUT WHAT I SEE STRANGE THINGS!

JUST MINDING MY OWN BUSINESS, SITTING HERE…

AND WATCHING THE GOLFERS SWING!
