Walk with me in springtime

When all life is fresh and new,

When joys of youth are overflowing,

Troubles are but few.

Walk with me in summer

All in life we both can share,

Our burdens shall be lightened,

Since we travel as a pair.

Walk with me in autumn

When our lives are turning gold,

And signs about us signify

That we'll soon face the cold.

Walk with me in winter

When the world has turned away,

When days are long, and hard and cold,

And life has turned to gray.

Walk with me my darling,

Until death do us part,

And I shall love you always

From the depth of mine own heart.
